Our Roots
We are a family-owned and operated small business located in Upstate New York. The name “Peaceful Valley” was inspired by a location in Flagstaff, Arizona, where we lived for a time – a literal peaceful valley surrounded by gorgeous snow-topped mountains and thick, beautiful pine trees.
In 2000, my 2-year-old daughter was diagnosed with asthma, leading me to discover the harmful effects of burning paraffin candles. This revelation drove me to start creating and testing the soy candle-making process, focusing exclusively on all-natural ingredients.
The Journey
Previously, I made candles as gifts, but this newfound purpose transformed my hobby into a passion. Flash forward to 2013, we relocated to Upstate NY, seeking the beauty of four seasons and the glorious Pine Trees. As an avid tree hugger, I love the outdoors, hiking with my family and pets, and riding my horse, Benjamin.
