At Peaceful Valley Candles, we use 100% natural soy wax. We love Soy wax because it is sustainable, renewable, and biodegradable. Soy wax produces 90% less soot than paraffin and burns slower, which means your candle will burn cleaner and last longer. Peaceful Valley Candles only uses soy wax grown and produced in the USA.
No they are not. In the US, guidelines for labeling say any candle that is at least 51% soy, can be labeled as a soy wax candle. Some candles contain paraffin(which when burning, gives off carcinogens, found in diesel fuel, that have been known to cause cancer) or other additives would be in the candle as well. Peaceful Valley ONLY uses 100% soy wax, which is considered vegan by our suppliers.
We only use cotton core wicks that are free of metal, zinc or lead.

The soy wax used by Peaceful Valley Candles, is sourced from and responsibly grown by American Farmers, thereby helping our US economy and other small businesses like ours.
Our fragrances do have 60-80% components of essential oils.
All the fragrances used by peaceful valley are phthalate free. In case you did not know, Phthalates are a group of chemicals, used to make plastics more flexible and are also found in many consumer products. Research has shown that high levels of these phthalates can be linked to many health issues, especially in children.
If you love your furry friends like we do, you will be happy to know Peaceful Valley Candles, does not use any ingredients that may have been tested on or derived from animals.
Because all of our soy candles are hand poured, made in small batches and normally have to cure for at least 2 weeks for the best scent throw. However, we are always making new batches and keep a small supply of already cured soy candles in each scent on hand. Our preferred method of shipping is USPS Priority, which takes between 1-5 business days, once we ship your purchase, and dependent on where you are in the united states. However this is subject to USPS schedules and guidelines.
